<p>דף חדש: מקור השם :לוחמי חירות ישראל. מטרת הקמתה :להגן על מדינת ישראל ואזרחיה. המקים של מחתרת לח&quot;י הוא: אברהם שטר...</p> <p><b>דף חדש</b></p><div>מקור השם :לוחמי חירות ישראל.<br /> מטרת הקמתה :להגן על מדינת ישראל ואזרחיה.<br /> המקים של מחתרת לח&quot;י הוא: אברהם שטרן<br /> פעולה 1: בחודשים פברואר-ספטמבר 1944 אנשי לח&quot;י תקפו את הבריטים ברחובות שמו מוקשים במכוניותיהם, ירו בהם בעת מרדף אחרי אנשי לח&quot;י ופוצצו את בנין בירושלים. בפעולות אלה נהרגו ונפצעו מספר גדול של שוטרים וקצינים בריטים .מספר אנשי לח&quot;י נהרגו בפעולות ואחרים נאסרו והובאו בפני בתי דין צבאיים.<br /> פעולה 2: עוד ביצעו אנשי הלח&quot;י הוצאות להורג של מי שנחשבו בעיניהם בוגדים. כך הוציאו להורג בשנים1948 את יוסף דוידסקו מותיקי מחתרת נילי, את ישראל פריצקר איש מש&quot;י, את אנשי הלח&quot;י יהודה אריה לוי ואברהם וילנצ'יק, את ורה דוכס וחיה זיידנברג, את הנער ארנסט מיכאל שנאל ואחרים.<br /> פעולה 3 : 29 בספטמבר 1944: רצח תומאס ג'יימס וילקין, בכיר בבולשת של המשטרה הבריטית בארץ ישראל, ומהאחראים לרצח אברהם שטרן.<br /> מיוחד בארגון התפיסה שהנחתו אותו הוא : הלח&quot;י היה ארגון קטן שמונה מאות אנשים בלבד, אך ביצע פעולות נועזות נגד השלטון הבריטי, שכללו הפעלת מוקשים נגד שוטרים בריטיים והתקפות על יעדים בריטיים. הבריטים כינו את הארגון כנופיית שטרן.<br /> שני אנשים חשובים שהיו במחתרת לח&quot;י הם :יצחק שמיר ,ישראל אלדד.<br /> פרטי מידע הם : יהושוע כהן בתפקיד ראש מחתרת לח&quot;י אבל לא בפועל <br /> ב-19 באוקטובר 1944 ממשלת המנדט הגלתה מאות עצירים חברי האצ&quot;ל והלח&quot;י למחנות מעצר באפריקה. הגולים ערכו נסיונות בריחה אחדים, אך רק מעטים מהבורחים הצליחו בכך. העצירים שוחררו וחזרו ארצה רק לאחר קום המדינה, ב-12 ביולי 1948. ב-19 באוקטובר 1944 ממשלת המנדט הגלתה מאות עצירים חברי האצ&quot;ל והלח&quot;י למחנות מעצר באפריקה. הגולים ערכו נסיונות בריחה אחדים, אך רק מעטים מהבורחים הצליחו בכך. העצירים שוחררו וחזרו ארצה רק לאחר קום המדינה, ב-12 ביולי 1948 <br /> <br /> שתי עובדות חשובות בהם פעל הארגון : ערבי אשר נרצח ע&quot;י אנשי לח&quot;י בינואר 48 לאור החשד שהיה בקשר עם כנופיות ערביות.<br /> 29 בספטמבר 1944: רצח תומאס ג'יימס וילקין, בכיר בבולשת של המשטרה הבריטית בארץ ישראל, ומהאחראים לרצח אברהם שטרן.</div>
